Once you have successfully registered, our team at Car Chilli will coordinate the with the car owner regards to the installation of a security system in your vehicle to ensure the safety of both the car owner and the hirer.

 

Q: WHICH CAR VARIETIES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR LISTING ON THE CAR CHILLI APP?

It means that the hirer will be held accountable for the payment and any subsequent consequences related to the traffic offence. As the owner, you have fulfilled your obligation by providing the necessary information, and any further actions or penalties will be the responsibility of the hirer.


Q: WHERE AND IN WHAT MANNER SHOULD I PARK THE CAR?

We conduct verification checks to ensure the validity and status of their driving license. Additionally, we also check if the hirers are blacklisted or have any previous incidents or violations recorded. Q: IS IT ALLOWED TO DRIVE THE CAR TO MALAYSIA?

If you choose to allow Malaysia usage, you can indicate any additional surcharge or fees associated with such trips. Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF THE CAR IS DRIVEN TO MALAYSIA WITHOUT MY CONSENT?

A: If a hirer drives your car to Malaysia without your consent, it is advisable to take the following steps:

  • Contact the Car Chilli customer service team: inform them immediately about the unauthorized trip to Malaysia and provide them with all the relevant details. 

  • GPS tracking: As you mentioned, all cars listed on Car Chilli are equipped with GPS. The GPS will notify Car Chilli if the car crosses the border without authorization. This information can be crucial in identifying the hirer’s location and taking appropriate action.  Contact the authorities: if necessary, report the incident to the appropriate authorities in both Singapore and Malaysia. Provide them with all the necessary information, including the hirer’s details and any GPS tracking data available.

Or alternative transportation options.   • Inform the owner: Car Chilli will promptly notify the owner of the vehicle about the accident. They will provide details of the incident, including any relevant information regarding damages, insurance claims, or legal matters. A: Car Chilli processes earnings for cash-out every 10 working days. Please note that weekends and public holidays may not be considered working days. Once the processing period is complete, proceed to initiate the cash-out request through the Car Chilli app. After you have submitted the cash-out request, Car Chilli will process the payout. It typically takes around 3 working days for the funds to be transferred to your designated bank account.

A: Please do not leave any valuable items in the vehicle as the hirer and you should be responsible for your own belongings. Car owners may choose to make a police report for the loss of item(s).

A: No, when you rent out your car through the Car Chilli platform, it will be covered under Car Chilli’s insurance policy.
